Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a 2,000-acre day-use park with a number of hiking trails, two of which lead up 1,000 foot high Pinnacle Mountain. Within the park are two pavilions and the Arkansas Arboretum, a 70-plus acre area showcasing Arkansas' natural flora. Park workers are available to give guided boat and canoe tours via the Big and Little Maumelle Rivers, which run through the park. The park is located about ten miles west of Little Rock.
